Ronald S. Worley, 79, 1768 Old Hinton Road passed away peacefully Sunday with his family by his side.
Mr. Worley retired as a machine operator at A P Parts in Goldsboro. Over the years he enjoyed playing music in different bands around in the community.
A private graveside service for family members only will be Wednesday at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Steve Singleton will officiate. A public service will be announced at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda Radford Worley; three daughters, Betty Worley Dunn (James) and Renee Worley Nichols (Earl) both of Princeton, and Sherri Woodard of Phoenix, AZ; Five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, brothers, David Rickey Worley of Smithfield; sisters, Mavis Worley Young of Smithfield and Julia Worley Friend of Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luria Kathleen Hartley Worley and David A. Worley, his siblings, Willie Worley, Steve Worley and Gail Worley Singleton, and grandson, Tyler Woodard.
