George Thomas Miller, Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

George Thomas Miller, Jr., 49, of Pikeville, left March 6, 2022, after a lengthy illness to go to his Heavenly home. Jr. is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Milton & Mary Pearce of Goldsboro, and his paternal grandparents, Jessie & Louise Miller of Pikeville. He is survived by his loving daughter, Nicole Elizabeth Miller of Princeton; his parents, George Miller, Sr. and Patricia Pearce Miller of Pikeville; brother, Christopher Lynn Miller and wife, Kelli of Erwin; a very special nephew, Warner Reed Miller of Erwin; 3 aunts, Marlene Jernigan of Matthews, NC, Martha Tillman of Pikeville, and Ann Underhill and husband, Durwood of Goldsboro; uncle, Preston Miller of Pikeville; a host of cousins; and a very special buddy, his dog, Bandit. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 13th, 2022, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Evergreen Funeral Home. The Reverend Bill Cotton will officiate. The family will greet friends and loved ones following the service. The family would like to thank Dr. Phillip Mayo and Dr. Dalton Dove for the remarkable are they gave Jr. and ESPECIALLY ALL the ICU nurses on the south wing that took such good care of him and kept the family updated each time they called to check on him. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the charity of your choice be made.
