Elva Elliott Stackhouse, 94, passed away Sunday at Brookdale on Berkeley Blvd.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Wayne Memorial Park. The Reverend Dr. Thomas O. Harper will be officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service at 710 Park Avenue.
Surviving are her sons, William James (Jim) Stackhouse, MD and his wife Joyce Ann Keller of Goldsboro, Kenneth (Ken) Byne Stackhouse and his wife Patricia of San Jose, CA, Randall (Randy) Elliott Stackhouse and his wife Celeste G. of Indialantic, FL; grandchildren, William Curtis Stackhouse and his wife Elizabeth Howze of Goldsboro, James Russell Stackhouse, MD and his wife Erin Ducey of Amelia Island, FL, Stephen Ralph Stackhouse of Raleigh, NC, Mike Tisdell of San Jose, CA, Sharon Coffelt of Denair, CA, Becky Sipe of Cameron, NC, Tim W. Stackhouse and wife Meagan of Tallahassee, FL, Katrina G. Mylett and husband Jon of Palmetto, FL, and Sabrina M. Stackhouse of Palm Bay, FL; great-grandchildren, Mary Wynne Stackhouse, William Richmond Stackhouse, Charlotte Elizabeth Stackhouse and Olivia Ann Stackhouse.
She was a native of Perquimans County, NC and was preceded in death by her husband, William Byne Stackhouse in 2009, her parents, Katherine Irene Jackson Elliott and Loyd Nathan Elliott, and her brothers, Loyd Jackson Elliott and Carl Nathan Elliott.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Community Home Care & Hospice, 2309 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
