Bertha Mae Hill Case

January 1, 1925 ~ July 5, 2018 (age 93)

Bertha Mae Hill Case, 93, 200 E. Graham Street, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

A viewing will be held Saturday (July 14, 2018) from 1:00 to 1:45pm with the Funeral service at 2:00 pm at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 901 Harris Street, Goldsboro. Committal will follow the service in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Hwy 70 West, Goldsboro.

Surviving are a son, Albert Allen Case of the home and a daughter, Wilma Case-Starks (Preston) and children, Valerie Starks and Phillip Starks of Jacksonville, FL; granddaughter, Lanika Case and sons, Quinlan Case and Joseph Evans of Goldsboro; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Davis Case and daughter Brandi Case of San Antonio, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews and their families.

Mrs. Case was a native of Forest City, NC, and was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph B. Case, Jr., her parents, Lillie Manning Hill and Robert Hill,  and a son, MSgt Joseph B Case, III. She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and a retired teacher of Goldsboro City Schools.  .
