Evergreen Memorial Cemetery is a beautiful perpetual care cemetery located in Eastern North Carolina. It is conveniently located on Highway 70 West between Goldsboro and Princeton as you are going to Raleigh. As a perpetual care cemetery; Evergreen will be maintained for the life of the cemetery and we take pride on our clean cut, trimmed lawns and the grounds appearing dignified of the loved ones’ graves that have been entrusted into our care.
The cemetery was founded in 1962 by Esrom McLamb and his wife Lena Pope McLamb. After their deaths, the estate sold the cemetery to Elliott R. Futrell, one of the partners that purchased the business. In 2001, Elliott R. Futrell brought Jonathan M. Lane into the business as a partner.
Evergreen Memorial Cemetery has spaces and plots available in every section of the cemetery. Additionally, we have outer burial containers, cremation niches, markers, monuments and mausoleums.
Evergreen Memorial Cemetery strives to give you the comfort, peace of mind and assistance when making decisions. We are available to answer your questions and explain in detail any information that you may have about our services and products.
