Vivian Young Capps, 1309 Clingman Street died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice center with her family by her side.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Hwy 70 West. The family will received friends and family an hour prior to the service. The Rev. Terry Foss will officiate.
Surviving is her husband of 45 years William Earl Capps. Daughters, Lucy Pope (Gerald) of Dudley, Peggy Poythress (Steve Starnes) of Dudley and Teresa Ward (Jerry) of Rosewood. Sons, Craig Rashaw (Maggie) of Pikeville, Theodore Young (Peggy) of Richlands, Glenn Head of Goldsboro and William Earl Capps, Jr. (Jennifer Wiggins) of Rosewood. A sister, Mildred Young of Goldsboro. Ten Grandchildren and three Great-Grandchildren.
Mrs. Capps was a member of Emmaus Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Dolly Holland Young and Maynard Young.
